Copper manufacturing process involves, Smelting of concentrate in Smelting furnace to produce an intermediate copper rich product. Converting of liquid matte to blister copper in Peirce-Smith converter.
In the process of extraction of copper metal, Sulphuric acid is recovered as a by-product from the off-gases generating from the Smelting and converting furnaces.
TSPL provides WHB on Off gases from Smelter, converter boiler and WHB / APH / PHE for SAP.
