METHANOL

Waste Heat Recovery Solutions for Methanol Plant

Heat Recovery in Methanol Plant

Methanol is predominantly produced from natural gas by reforming the gas with steam and then converting and distilling the resulting synthesized gas mixture to create pure methanol. A process Gas waste heat boiler is an important equipment used to cool hot synthesis gas.

The heat from process gas is used to generate High Pressure / Low Pressure steam.

TSPL provides single or twin boiler design combined with a common steam drum & Superheater if required as per plant / process needs.

PROCESS GAS WASTE HEAT RECOVERY BOILERS

For Methanol Plant

In methanol plants, hot synthesis gas leaving the reformer is cooled in a process-gas waste heat boiler, generating HP/LP steam.

Thermal Systems provides single or twin boiler designs combined with a common steam drum and superheater as per licensor and plant requirements, in gas-tight construction with gap-free welding.
